Kids Float

Kids Float is a weekly guided float and lunch for kids ages 10 to 16. Our introduction to kayaking will give your young kayaker the knowledge and basic skills necessary to have confidence on the water. These basic skills will build a foundation that the kayaker can enjoy for life. No experience necessary. The cost is $20, and includes a guided float, gear rental, and lunch. Every Tuesday morning, weather permitting.

Kayak & Coffee

Our weekly Kayak & Coffee floats are popular with locals as well as out of town guests. Being on the river early in the morning gives you the opportunity to see nature as it’s just beginning to stir. The leather back turtles, hellbenders, blue herons, and bald eagles are all sights to be seen! Meet at OARS at 8:30 AM to enjoy a cup of java and a bit of breakfast, then head out on the water at 9 AM. The cost is $20 if you need to rent gear, and $15 if you have your own gear. Coffee and a breakfast snack are included. Every Friday morning, weather permitting.

Ladies’ Night

If you’ve never paddled with us before, we have a once a month ladies’ night when we meet at OARS for registration then we set sail on a float. After the float, we bring you back to OARS where you will be catered to with a beautiful spread of foods and beverages that is sure to satisfy. We’ll have a fire lit and music playing for the ambiance as you unwind, talk about highlights from the float, and meet new people. Call us for more information at 814-388-9122.

Couples Night

Float on the Allegheny River with your significant other, then enjoy a steak dinner and a bottle of wine around the campfire. We want this monthly float to be a romantic and relaxing environment for you to meet other couples and make memories with ones you may already know. It’s a unique and fun monthly date night. The cost is $110 per couple if you have your own gear, $120 per couple if you need to rent gear.
